Entering The Hunger Games Timeline

It does feel as if we are headed toward a hunger games like scenario in the U.S. The politicians and elites as they call themselves televise their lavish dinner parties on the news as citizens starve and go homeless. Quite an odd time to be living through to say the least. Rather than a ballroom bunker for the upcoming fake alien invasion could we just have free healthcare and our full paychecks without being taxed to poverty.
